A graduate of the Vocal and Acting Faculty of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań under Professor Eugeniusz Sąsiadka’s direction.
Since 1996, a soloist at the Stanisław Moniuszko Grand Theatre in Poznań.
The artist has performed in the majority of opera houses in Poland, i.e., the Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw, the Warsaw Chamber Opera, the Grand Theatre in Łódź, the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk, the Krakow Opera, Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic.
As a soloist of the Poznań Opera, he took part in numerous foreign tours with his parent theatre, during which he participated, for example, in the premiere of Richard Strauss's Salome at Le Grand Théâtre Munnicipale in Luxembourg, or Marcel Landowski’s Galina in Hanover at World Expo 2000. He has also performed at opera festivals in Carcasonne, Xanten, Santander, the Moniuszko Festival in Kudowa Zdrój, the Adam Didur Festival in Sanok, Poznań Mozart Festival, Nuit Blanche in Brussels and many others. In 2001 he took part in the concert opening the Ninth International Festival of Cinematography Camerimage in Łódź. Tomasz Raczkiewicz has performed in Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Spain and Japan.

November 2008 – Third Prize in the national competition for a song about Poznań under the auspices of the President of Poznań “A NAM WARTO ŻYĆ NAD WARTĄ” for the song Twój Poznań.
2 October 2012 – winner of the competition “Forbes Professionals 2012” in the category ACTOR in the Greater Poland Voivodeship.
September 2015 – a statuette of the founders of the Zakłady Kórnickie Foundation – Władysław Zamoyski and Jadwiga Zamoyska – BENE MERITUS “for the contribution to the Music from Kórnik Summer Festival”.
20 August 2018 – The “Fideliter et Constanter” Medal – “in recognition of the special contribution, for many years of persistent and faithful work for the benefit of people with intellectual disabilities”.
7 October 2021 – for services to Tomaszów Lubelski, the Tomasz Zamoyski Founder of the Town Medal for cultivating the culture and tradition of the Tomaszów region, awarded on the 400th Anniversary of the town’s foundation.
